#tag talk#I've been getting back into working out and it's pretty great#home workout not gym workout cause no fucking way I do not belong at the gym#bicep curls are my favorite and squats are my least favorite but I want big thighs so I must continue#I don't split my exercising into different groups on different days. I just have a general set of exercises that I do#I prefer to work my whole body instead of having leg day arm day back day and what have you#it's way more satisfying to lie exhausted and unmoving on the floor as your whole body aches versus only isolated ache and exhaustion#I want to start running again as well but I haven't found a good way to incorporate that into my routine yet.#I'm gonna go on a sunrise hike later this week with a friend. I'm pretty hyped for it I've been wanting to for a while.#brain is overloaded trying to calculate scenarios with the new poly relationship I'm sort of in now#I say sort of because it's so new it's not really established yet. but we have a discord group chat and movie plans for tomorrow#I think our identity is shifting back to R now. I put on a skirt to wear around the house and it feels right and not weird anymore#so I think nature is healing and we're back to normal identity balance which I'm conflicted about#cause on one hand I'm way more cheerful but he's way more solid and reliable and grounded but I'm more social and lively#idk. like most things in life it's not about picking one or the other but rather balancing two opposing sides of a spectrum#my answer is not to pick one identity or the other but rather to learn how to integrate them both into a functional working system#but that's easier said than done.#idk. being two people who slide in and out of phase is kind of annoying actually. I lack consistency#consistency in relationships. consistency in appetite. consistency in physical activity. consistency in entertainment preferences#it makes it so hard to find a routine and stick with it because I oscillate between two people with separate preferences for routine#I worry I'll lose his routine now that I'm slipping back into R not L. -> for instance, when i had this in my solar return chart, i was very determined and energetic that year (i burnt myself out!). i also started to focus on creating and following a workout plan to build muscle - which i did :) -, and still follow to this day.
heavy, negative 12th house prominence can indicate that secrets are more likely to circulate and impact you this year.
-> an extreme example of this would be Donald Trump's solar return chart for this year. He has 3 planets conjunct in the 12th house that only receive several squares. Saturn, being the ruler of the chart's 6th house (health), squares this stellium. He got shot recently and this shooting/assassination attempt was a secret which impacted him.

When you were brought in by Bruce into the Batfam, he immediately had a soft spot for you.
Training sessions with him are calculated, but not as grueling as with some of the others.  He lets you pick what to work on, but does try to make it more fun.
After training snack stops are a MUST.  Anything from ice cream to sweets to chips to smoothies. He’ll take you after a good workout or training
Patrols can be both fun and frustrating. He will be overprotective, but try to crack jokes on a boring night.
He is responsible as much as he is fun, so when he sees you focused on the patrols or missions, he takes pride in that.
He is well aware that you can fight and kick ass on your own and won’t cut in to take that from you. He really only gets in the way if he feels like you are in danger or at a high risk.
If you get into an argument or fight with one of the other Batfam members, he lends an ear and tries to calm you down.
He knows your body language well and goes out of his way to check if you are okay or give you your favorite things to cheer you up.
He definitely builds blanket forts for him, you, and the other siblings. Full of lights, pillows, and lo-fi music.
When he moves to Blüdhaven, you are welcome to stay with him whenever you want. He is a phone call away, no matter what.
For major events in your life, he is there for you. From a prom night, to your 21st birthday, to bringing your partner over for the first time, he is there as your hype man.
When it comes to romantic advice, he’s a bit of an over-sharer, but he wants you to be happy and not be heartbroken by some jerk. He’ll give you his perspective and red and green flags.
In addition to relationship chats, he loves to hear about your crushes and/or partner.  Seeing you so passionate about someone is adorable and raw to him. He also takes it as a sign of trust.
When you get sick, he goes full mother-hen mode with Bruce and Alfred to take care of you. He will overreact, but it’s out of love
Same goes for if you are injured while on patrol. He goes into first aid mode and fusses over getting everything for you.
He is the dad of the group when it comes to snacks and feeding you. You will not go hungry with him around.
But he isn’t always fun and games. If you are getting too rowdy or rough, he will make sure to let you know.
When a plan of attack is in motion, he watches over you to be sure you do it right and safely.
He does not tolerate separating from the core values of the Batfam, but will not be as harsh as some of the other members.
If you are one of the vigilantes that takes more to violence or killing, he will show disapproval, but not hold it against you outside of the costume.
Overall, he cares for you a lot and will look after you, while still respecting your space and choices. A good big bro.

———————————————————————— I feel like dates with Leo would be very unpredictable. Like they are different each time. Sometimes it’ll be�� skateboarding together, other times it’s a small dinner date at his place, there’s even those times where he doesn’t really have anything plan but wants to go with the flow. He can be very impulsive at times, so I wouldn’t be surprised if one day on your date you both adopt a baby turtle and call them your child lol.
honestly you never know what to expect with him. Just know it’ll be fun with him around. 
Raph would 100% plan a whole lot before he asks you on a date. He is aware of every detail to ensure it succeeding. Honestly he just wants you to enjoy yourself, so they dates will always be things you enjoy. You like shopping? Great! You’ll have a shopping date and get to dress each other up. You like hiking? Alright, you’ll go hiking in your next date! If you like working out he’d definitely be happy to workout with you. He also seems like the guy to gift you cute things like plushies, bracelets, and flowers.
Donnie would also be like raph but a bit more calm about it. I mean he trusts his calculations, if it says the dates will go well, then the dates will go well. Ngl arcade dates would probably be a common one. Or like the late night gaming ones. If you enjoy museums you’ll have lots of dates there. Mainly cause there’s so many type of museums: science museums, historical museums, and art museums. And he’s good with facts so he feels comfortable with those. He definitely has act of service as one of his love languages and would do a bunch of things for you without you realizing it.
Mikey’s dates would be very cute. In the sense that they’re very creative. Art dates are a must. Y’all would draw each other or make crafts together. Definitely lots of cooking and baking together. Even if you don’t cook or draw, he would always give you a small drawing/painting with a little box that has a dessert/snacks just for you. He’d definitely always go for a cozy and fun kinda date. You would definitely build a pillow fort and have movie night there. He’d also go for picnics and ice cream dates.  Would do lots of tiktok challenges and trends with you. (Like the tortilla challenge one)

Curiosity 4 (Ikki Niko x Reader) SMUT

Sorry for the late update, I know people have been waiting for it, including my friend who requested it. My favorite character from Blue Exorcist is finally back on the show so my thoughts are nonstop Amaimon. Sorry.
Normal.
Everything was normal the following day. You got up before Ikki and quietly changed into some clothes from your drawer. Since you’ve spent so many nights together, your parents and his had arranged for you to have a place to keep your clothes at each other's houses. You even have a uniform hanging in his closet, which is perfectly normal for best friends, right? It’s not.
Moving swiftly through the kitchen as if it were your own, you take various pans from the cabinets and gather ingredients from the fridge needed for breakfast. Ikki’s mom has left some miso soup for both of you. Preparing the tamagoyaki is straightforward, and there’s pickled cabbage waiting for you in the fridge.
Breakfast is normal. Ikki praises your cooking while you roll your eyes because there's really nothing to praise. Tamagoyaki is quite easy to make, and the soup and cabbage are leftovers from his mother. "You make the best tamagoyaki ______." “Whatever you say, Ikki.”
Everything felt normal as if last night hadn’t occurred. Watching you browse through your textbooks, Ikki begins to wonder if maybe it hadn’t happened. 
“_____, is everything okay?” He questions cautiously.
"No. Everything is not fine. Can you tell me when I'll actually use this after high school?" You pull up the calculator on your app. "Once I graduate, this calculator will be all I need. I’d like to know when I’ll have to apply this level of math in real life, Ikki?” You lift the workbook in frustration. It’s ridiculous.
He frowns at your answer; he is not talking about schoolwork. “I meant…with us.”
“Us?”
Now, he’s truly wondering if it was a dream or something more. Could it be a dream of one of his deepest desires? “Uh, never mind. I have practice in about an hour; I need to prepare." He heads into his bedroom to put on his workout clothes. A bento his mother packed yesterday sits waiting in the fridge, which he plans to take for lunch between practices.
“_____, do you need me to get you anything?” He questions as he grabs his bag.
“No, after I finish this, I’ll grab lunch and pick up what I need.” You dismiss him, focusing on the problem in front of you. “Don’t overdo it today.”
After another twenty minutes of struggling with the workbook, you reach for your phone and decide to google the answers. At first, you try to use a website that gives you the answers and explains how it’s the answer, but then you get bored with reading about math and quickly switch to just writing the answers down.
Instead of making something for lunch, you decide to go out to a local café with great sandwiches and warm drinks. It’s just around the corner, and you make it into the coffee shop rather quickly; the scent of coffee and baked goods hits you as you enter the door. “Hi _____.” The barista grins. “How ‘s my favorite customer today?” He questions as you step up to the display case.  “Good, how are you?”
"Great! Where’s my other favorite customer? I don’t remember the last time I saw you come in alone," he asks, as he begins preparing your favorite hot drink for your order.
“With his true love.”
The man snorts. “Fairly certain soccer isn’t his true love, kiddo. Anyway, what else can I get you?”
Your original plan was to come for a sandwich, but your eyes lock on a slice of cake. Would it be weird to get a slice of cake and a sandwich? Usually, you’d order one and take the other home, but you’d like to eat both now. “A panini and a slice of cake.” You point towards the slice of cake you want.
As you sip on the warm drink, you relax in the quiet cafe, watching the people walking by outside on the sidewalk. It’s not a school day, so you notice a lot of high schoolers walking by with friends. The warm comfort of the drink and smoothing warmness of the cafe is slowly starting to get to you. You and Ikki had stayed up pretty late last night, and he had to wake up early for practice today, so you wanted to make him breakfast like a good girlfriend best friend.
Shaking your head, you decide to head back to Ikki’s house. You should take a nap while you can before Ikki finishes practice. 
The journey back to his house feels slower, as fatigue weighs heavily on every step. You struggle to unlock the door and carefully place your shoes in their designated spot before slipping into a pair of indoor slippers. A nap is definitely needed. Wanting to be as comfortable as possible, you remove your pants and neatly fold them before settling onto the sofa with a cozy blanket.
Ikki gazes down at his phone while eating the bento his mother prepared for him. He hardly registers the coach announcing that practice will end early today, as he's still grappling with whether last night was a dream or reality. He hasn’t received a text from you, which feels unusual since you usually message him during lunch.
After practice, Ikki makes his way to the locker room to change out of his sweaty clothes. He pulls out his phone to check for any messages from you, but finds nothing. A wave of disappointment washes over him, yet he quickly dismisses it, reminding himself that you’re likely busy with your own activities.
“______.” Someone whispers, shaking your shoulder. “Are you okay?” You groan, opening your eyes to see concerned teal eyes staring at you. “Ikki? Yeah, I’m okay. Why wouldn’t I bed?” You ask while rubbing your eyes.
“Oh, you didn’t text me during lunch, so….” He tilts his head down, allowing the hair to cover his eyes. “…. I was a little worried.” He admits.
You slowly sit up, glancing around the living room. “Wait, what time is it?”
“A little after two.”
“Why are you here?”
Ikki’s concerned expression morphs into something else, his mouth a thin, straight line. “Sorry, I can go-“
“What? Where are you going? Why are you here so early? Practice shouldn’t be over yet, right?” you ask, tossing the blanket aside and standing up. Ikki’s eyes widen as your bare thighs come into view at his eye level. he swallows hard, his gaze slowly moving up; you remain unaware of his lingering stare. As you stretch your arms overhead, your shirt rises slightly above your panties.
As memories from what he’s starting to believe was a dream flash through his mind, his mouth starts to water.
Ikki quickly averts his gaze, feeling a rush of heat creeping up his neck. "I-I just... our coach let us go early today," he stammers, trying to compose himself. He clears his throat and looks away, his heart racing at the sight before him.
You raise an eyebrow at his flustered demeanor, noticing how he avoids looking directly at you. "Well, since you're here early, want to watch a movie or something?" you offer casually, not realizing your casual movements' effect on him.
Ikki hesitates momentarily, still trying to shake off the images from the dream—or was it reality? "Uh, sure. Yeah, that sounds good," he replies, finally meeting your gaze but quickly looking away again.
“Great.” He’s still on his knees when you lean forward to grab the remote from the coffee table in front of the sofa. Ikki bites back a groan at the sight of you bent over like that in only a shirt and light blue underwear. 
You didn't think twice about dressing like this in front of Ikki; it was completely normal for you. Even though last night had been more intimate and left you feeling exposed, him seeing you like this now, just casually watching TV, made it feel innocent again. 
After selecting a movie, you sit on the other end of the sofa. Your body angled towards him, with your knees bent and resting against the arm of the sofa. This position gives him a perfect view of your slightly visible underwear. 
It had to have been a dream. Otherwise, you would’ve said something to him, right? His fingers dig into his thighs as he tears his eyes away from you. Last night, you were so open and blunt with your curiosity. So, was it a dream? He glances back at you from the corner, but as his eyes land on the blue cloth, he can’t help but feel starved. He wants to pull them down, see if you’ll make those same noises if he parts your legs and runs his tongue along your slit. 
“Ikki, are you okay?” You shuffle on the sofa, not noticing that you’ve opened your legs a bit wider for his view as you do. 
“No.” 
“What’s wrong.”  “Last night.” He watches you carefully to see any signs that maybe last night wasn’t just a dream. 
Your eyes widen; he sounds upset. Quickly, you straighten up, tucking your legs under you, and sit on your knees, staring at your best friend. “I’m sorry! I pushed too far. Didn’t I? We can just pretend it didn’t happen.” 
“No.” 
Your hands start to shake at his blunt tone. Is he angry and doesn’t want to be friends anymore? Does he feel like you took advantage of him? “Ikki, I’m so sorry. I was being selfish.” 
“______, I love you.” 
“I know; I love you too. Yet, I put you in that position. I shouldn’t-” 
He leans in, his forehead touching yours. You can feel his breath on your skin as he closes his eyes and sits silently with you.
“_____?” 
“Yes?” 
“I meant I’m in love with you.”
He leans forward, gently pressing his warm lips against yours. It’s a sweet, quick kiss, and when Ikki pulls away, he rests his forehead against yours again. "I'm sorry if I just made things awkward between us," he murmurs. “If you don’t return my feelings, it’s okay. We can act like I never said anything. I just can’t lose you _____.” 
You slowly pull away, reaching up to cup his face while pushing some hair from his eyes. “Sorry if you made things awkward? Ikki, I asked you if I could give you a blow job last night.” 
“_____.” 
“You’re not going to lose me; I love you too. I always have.” You admit before pressing your lips to his. He responds with a low groan before nipping at your bottom lip. Encouraged, you part your lips slightly, and he slips his tongue inside, gently moving against yours. Can you do a Nightwing/ Dick Grayson x hero reader? I really love your blog and how you write the DC characters. You also have a great write style. Definitely top 1 favorite blog for Nightwing fanfiction.
The reader grew up taking dance classes like ballet and ballroom, So his fighting style is similar to Nightwing's. And when Nightwing meets the reader he is just absolutely smitten, especially since the reader and Dick can train/ spar the same way together.
You can put smut into this request and won't complain in slightest.
Maybe the smut can start with Dick and Reader helping eachother with stretches.
Or the Reader is doing hand stand push ups, and Dick just wants to make it harder for the reader. So Dick just balances on the reader's feet, to add extra weight to the workout. But the reader has other plans and decides to just roll, which causes Dick is fall, Reader catching him in his lap.

-          Your hero name was Danseur, yes not the most creative but you started doing hero work super young and it was the first thing that came to mind and it stuck. You worked together with your guardian at the time, who had a similar deal to Batman going on.
-          At some point your guardian joined the justice league and you joined the group for the proteges, where you met Robin for the first time. At first the two of you butted heads a little, but so did everyone on the team as none of you were used to working with so many people.
-          But as time passed you all grew closer and became a pretty solid team. In the beginning your fighting style had been similar to your mentor, but as you grew and did more dancing it became more extravagant and flowy, using the many dance moves you knew from all your training.
-          Robin became Nightwing as you grew up, and you two stayed close. You didn’t know, but when you met for the first time Dick had been completely smitten with you, it was why he tried so hard to make himself appear better in the beginning.
-          It was still something your teammates and friends teased him for, because it always made Dick embarrassed. He tried to deny that was why, but they all knew it was the truth.
 -          You both grew closer than most of the team, its what happens when you spar together more than everyone else and have similar fighting styles, or when your mentors work together as much as Batman and your mentor does.
-          Dick and You can regularly be found sparring in the designated sparring areas in the league tower, the both of you twirling and spinning almost too much. At some point Beast boy called it peacocking, that you two were showing off like a pair of male peacocks showing of their tail feathers and everyone else just started calling it that as well.
-          Dick was just as smitten with you now as he was when you first met, if not more, but he was too embarrassed to ask you out on a date or similar. You had been growing feelings for the other hero as well, but you too didn’t know how to tell him.
-          It became a bet between your friends who would confess first, and Raven had even bet you both would confess on accident or kiss on accident which would lead to your relationship becoming official.
 -          Raven ended up being right as during one of your many sparring matches, you had started doing handstand pushups between rounds, and Dick, wanting to make it harder for you came up behind you and tried to add pressure.
-          You ended up wrapping your legs around his chest, spinning and flipping your position, which ended up with you both on the floor with Dick in your lap. You had done your calculations wrong though, so he ended up closer than you had planned and your lips knocked together.
-          You both froze, your lips still locked together as you stared at one another, both of you going bright red. From across the room you heard someone call “fucking finally”, which immediately made you both disconnect the kiss and start stuttering and apologizing.
-          Feeling embarrassed you both got to your feet and kept apologizing, not even able to meet each other’s eyes. It was Raven who finally said that “now that you two have kissed, can we get past all the horribly hidden feelings, and can you finally get together? It’s getting painful”. Both you and Dick are quiet as Raven drags your teammates out the room to give you both some privacy.
 -          You’re both quiet until one of you ask if Raven was right about the other having feelings, and the other shyly agrees that yes there’s feeling.
-          Dick softly admits that he’s been kinda smitten with you from the start, which makes you blush even more as you confess you’ve had feelings for him for a long time too. You both stand there in flustered silence until Dick reaches over and takes your hand, quietly muttering “Fuck it” as he pulls you in and kisses you.
-          This kiss is much better than the accidental one from before, your arms quickly winding around each other as the kiss gets a desperate edge as you can finally show each other the feelings you have for one another.
-          The kissing gets steamy after a while, as you shove Dick up against the wall and push your tongue between his lips and you both run your hands all over each other, tiny noises leaving the both of you.
-          That’s when you hear a disgusted noises from the entrance to the sparring area, and flipping around quickly you see Beast boy at the door, looking at you both with a mildly disturbed expression. “Look, I’m happy for you guys, but can you do that somewhere else? Some of us have sensitive noses” he says with an almost disappointed sigh.
-          Both you and Dick immediately fluster more and apologize to your teammate, quickly leaving the room holding hands. Behind you your green teammate rolls his eyes but snicker a little, seeing the slight stumble Dick was walking with as his legs still felt a little jelly-like.
-          You end up asking Dick on a date as you walk down the hallways, fingers intertwined in a sure handhold, to which Dick quickly jumps up and agrees with a big smile on his still flustered face.
-          You chuckle and lean in to kiss his cheek, to which he just beams even more at as he leans in to kiss you again.

Ghost pov:
At 4:00 sharp Y/N exited the locker room, she spotted me from across the gym and walked over, I met her in the middle.

"Hello Y/N, how was your day?"
This better work soap
She looked bewildered at my question
"G-Good?" She hesitated, looking around, possibly scanning for some sort of trap.
"There's no catch, I just thought I should act friendlier towards you." I confessed
"Okay-" she slowly nodded her head
An awkward silence followed
"Lets begin," I said
She nodded her head as I walked off in the direction of the agility course. Y/N padded along beside me. The silence still felt awkward.
"So where were you stationed before coming here?" I asked her
"Anchorage, we were mostly a port for shipments, a bit of classified work too, you know, with Russia being less than 100 miles away."
"Alaska?"
"Yeah, weathers better here."
I laughed at her un-funny joke, just to break the ice.
We reached the ladder leading up to the first stage of the course, a leaderboard posted at the bottom.
"Your not on here lieutenant, I thought you were supposed to be athletic with those... muscles." She paused before the last word, my cheeks turning a dusty rose color at her mention of my body. Thank fuck for this mask.
"A big, bulky guy like me isn't the most agile," I told her.
she hummed.
"I'm going to time you, lets do 5 sets of the entire course, three minutes rest in between each." I explained
"Go!" I commanded.
She dashed up the ladder with decent speed, swinging across the hanging ropes with ease. She stepped across the moving bridge without hesitation, her foot slipped at one point. most at least stop to calculate the timing or something.
Daring, I noted.
I didn't like that trait for her, too dangerous. She should have at least stopped to analyze the situation first.
I watched her complete the first stage, scaling another ladder. She came across an obstacle that required you to jump a fair distance onto it, then use your full arms strength to pull yourself up to a platform. I pursed my lips when she struggled to pull herself up. Her arms quivered, face contorting into a grimace, finally she slipped and fell into the safety net.
"Climb down," I yelled up to her
She threw her head back and groaned, crawling across to the ladder and descending it.
"I almost had it," Y/N pouted.
"Change of plans, Lets do an arm workout."
She sighed and followed me over to the weights.
"Since we're being friendly now, why don't you tell me a bit about yourself," she suggested.
I scoffed, "what do you want to know."
"When's your birthday," she began.
"May 18th."
"Favorite color?"
"Black."
"Music preference?"
"I don't listen to music"
"Birth year?"
"1994"
"Why do you wear that mask?"
Reader pov:
Ghost looked like he just saw a ghost.
You awaited your answer.
"This is a bench press," he said gruffly. Effectively changing the subject.
You ignored his lack of response and instead listened to his explanation on how to bench.
He demonstrated with a few reps. He made the 45 pound bar look like a pencil with his large, work-hardened hands and massive biceps. He had turned from awkwardly friendly to cold and reserved again. I shouldn't have asked about his mask, you thought.
He motioned for you to repeat after him. You used to train arms 3x per week for Track and XC but your conditioning has faded, even after joining the army. Ghost told you to do 3 sets of 10, with no weight on the bar. The first set was easy enough although, You had severely underestimated what not working arms for months would do. Halfway through the second set, Your shoulders burned. Your form went to shit and you were breathing heavily. Ghost took notice and helped guide the bar up and down.
You blushed at the close proximity of you and him, hoping he would mistake it for your exhaustion and not your lack of male attention for the last year and a half. Your old base had kept men and women strictly separated. You barely finished the third set.
Without a word, he moved on to the racks of dumbells. You could sense his anger at being asked such a personal question.
"Look, I'm sorry for aski-" he cut you off.
"Save it," he snapped. Not even bothering to look back at you as he began to curl impossibly large weights. You grabbed two, ten pound weights and followed, matching his pace and motions.
After a few sets he switched the motion, exercising a different muscle. He continued this cycle until finally re-racking the weights and moving on to other machines. You followed him wordlessly, until finally he looked at you and muttered, "Dismissed." You would have missed it if you hadn't been listening to him. Silently hoping that he would turn towards you and crack a joke, or accept your apology, or at least to give you feedback.
But no.
The mysterious lieutenant brushed past you and exited the gym. Leaving you all alone.

things that i’ve learned during my self-improvement journey that may or may not be controversial (and cause angry anon messages lol)
i talked more in depth in my new book that’s coming out about the things i’ve learned that actually helped me improve but here is a quick list of an updated “things that i’ve learned” since i made a list like this earlier this year.
1. it’s better to follow beauty standards than to do your own thing. society’s beauty standards ONLY become society’s beauty standards when everyone collectively shows more grace and interest in a specific type of person. beauty standards don’t just happen because an article wrote down what women should look like and now we follow it. they happen because there is a certain type of look + certain types of features that is adored by a MASS of people. your life will be a lot easier if you look good and follow society’s standards of beautiful. stop with the “it’s on the inside that counts” because that only works if you caught everyone by appearance first. no one gives unattractive people the time of day to even prove themselves to be awesome and beautiful on the inside. be for real.
2. morning routines give a false sense of productivity. it’s like people feel like they have to do 100 things in the morning before they tackle on their day. you’re gonna be tired before even starting work because your morning routine took 4 hours. wake up, do the basics, workout if you like to workout in the morning, and then get to work. writing gratitude lists and levitating in your living room for a couple hours is not going to make or break the rest of your day, i promise.
3. evening routines keep your mind and body active because you’re not allowing your body to just chill and your mind to go with the flow. keeping it simple before bed allows you a better night’s rest. brush teeth, skincare, and read a book. be zen before bed and stop trying to check off to do lists for an evening routine.
4. i’m not accepting myself. i’m not going to accept myself if i don’t like how i look. i’m not going to accept myself if i just got cheated on. i’m not going to accept myself if I’m not making the grades i want to make. take your self-acceptance advice and shove it. if i don’t like something about myself, you best believe i’m changing it. i don’t need to accept myself. i’ll accept myself when i’m happy with where i am. that’s like you being in an unhealthy relationship with someone and i tell you “accept where the relationship is”. no, goodbye i’m leaving this person and you can have him and accept where that relationship goes. it’s so stupid.
5. your advice to me should not be “oh just be confident”. confidence doesn’t come all of a sudden. confidence comes when you show up for yourself day in and day out and make things happen. confidence comes when you accomplish things. confidence comes when you put in effort and work and start seeing the benefits come into fruition. if you tell me to be confident, i will pinch you.
6. i’ve said it so many times this week, but i’m not manifesting. if i want something, i’m going to work at having it in my life immediately. i’m going to create a plan of action and take calculated steps to get what i want. if you think i’m going to write “i have $1,000,000 in my bank account” 55 times for 5 days, you have got me mistaken. i guarantee you i would be up day and night reading about business, finances, marketing, customer service, anything and everything about entrepreneurship and business and start a business that’s going to generate enough income where i have $1M in my account. no, i’m not going to have more faith in my crystals than in my own abilities of working hard. stop being scared to work.
7. this is one i recently had to learn: most people get into a relationship because they are ready to settle down. before you start letting your loneliness get the best of you, ask yourself “am i ready to settle down and potentially become a wife/husband and mom/dad in the next 1-3 years or do i just want affection/attention/the feeling of being wanted/loved/adored?” only get into a relationship when you’re ready for the next step, NOT when you are in your feelings.

#17.3 Wind up
"Crocodile, come with me for a moment," Khun heard as Agni approached Rak.
Rak gave Agni a thoughtful look, but he agreed. They walked away until they were out of sight, though not too far since Khun could still feel Rak's presence.

Khun sat down on the ground next to Ran, legs spread to avoid cramps after the workout. He didn't expect Agni to be that powerful. His moves were calculated and precise enough that he could still last after sparring with everyone one-on-one for five minutes each. His attacks weren't too destructive but aimed to subdue, which meant that he was serious when he said that this was just a mock battle and not a way to eliminate them. Agni could see everyone's weak points and use it to his advantage, and Khun was sure that everyone had at least one thing they could improve after this.
One thing Khun could confirm was that Agni did live up to the rumors. He had proven himself to be an excellent lightbearer, spear bearer and a negotiator, and it was kind of scary that he was also a part of FUG.
Although, there was something about him that made Khun wonder. It was really subtle, but after analyzing his fights with everyone else, Khun realized that Agni seemed to be favoring his left leg. Upon a successful hit, Agni's reaction was just as expected of a normal regular, and there was little to no change to his attack speed. Though from the way he didn't notice the surprise attack itself, Khun had a suspicion that his mask-covered eye might be partially blind. But he had no proof to back it up, since Agni's eyes both looked functional.
Footsteps approached Khun from behind. Something cold touched his cheek, and Khun instinctively reached out for his knife, especially because it reminded him of Agni's ice and some unpleasant memories from his past.
"Here, drink up." Isu offered him a cold can of juice. "Ran, I got yogurt for you too."
Ran took it silently with a straight face, but his eyes showed satisfaction.
Fortunately for Shibisu, Khun was too drained to be mad and instead just took a long sip of the juice to cool off his head, only to realize how thirsty he was. "You will get yourself stabbed if you do that to me again."
Isu blinked, then raised both hands in surrender. "Sorry, I won't do that again."
From the other side of the field, Endorsi groaned loudly, "I'm going to kill him." She got up to her feet and dragged Anaak with her. "We're going to spar, c'mon."
Anaak also groaned in response, but surprisingly complied. They were the first two to challenge Agni, so they had the longest break already. Hatz and Ran joined them on the sparring field not long after.
Khun took out his lighthouse and did a quick search. "The fish earlier…he didn't lie that it might be dangerous for E-ranks since it can only be found on the 24th floor or higher."
Shibisu gulped.
"it's possible to tame one…" Khun read aloud as he skimmed through the article, "but it's not built for fighting or tracking, so it’s low in demand among animas, making the domesticated electric eel rare in the market."
"Huh." Shibisu knitted his eyebrows, "So: One, Agni has at least reached the 24th floor to get his hands on it. And two, considering that he's from the Khun family, he wasn't born an anima, and that should have limited his ability to control shinheuh. So it's likely that he specifically picked this species for its abilities. Which are–"
"The ability to stunning their enemies and hide their shinsu presence," Khun recited. "They're a good choice for defending against a surprise attack. The major downside is that they can only release an electrical shock once every few days before having to recharge."
"Yeah, no wonder they're low in demand," Shibisu muttered. "So he's planning to give it to me?"
"Maybe he saw you as the weakest and in need of extra protection."
Shibisu groaned, "You didn't have to call me out like that. But I guess…it's not a bad idea to have a secret card."

“My left.”
You ducked, just barely dodging the fist that came hurtling in your direction.
Raph smirks.
“Not bad.”
You were both at a distance now, and he was watching you keenly. With all your training, getting the best of Raph was near impossible. He may have been a hothead, but he’s an incredible fighter.
Calculated.
It seems that he puts a little more effort when facing off with you. Because despite your size, you have the advantage. You’ve seen them train a million times. You know a lot of their movements. Their skills. In a battle, strategy is everything.
“Been listening to Leo huh.”
You grin, arms raised in front of your face as you mark him.
“If you’re trying to throw me off, it’s not going to work.”
“Is that right?”
You nod, still holding a defensive position.
“Ya know I’ve been thinking about it.”
“Yeah, what exactly have you been thinking about? If it’s you we’re talking about, it can't be good.”
He’s still wearing that confident smirk, and you narrow your eyes when his gait changes slightly.
“I’ve been thinking about what it would be like to kiss ya.”
The statement makes your eyes grow wide, and you falter for a moment.
“What..”
You let out a little breath, now distracted.
Raph moves closer, and you know you should hold your position, but that look in his eyes, it has you shifting in your spot.
You find yourself backing up and his smile becomes wider. Your back hits the wall and you jolt. Raph presses his hand against the wall.
“R-Raph w-we’re supposed to be training..”
“We are. Did ya know that kissing burns calories?”
You shake your head, licking your lips.
“Let's get in a good workout.”
Your eyelids lower as he moves in.
“Dude, wake up!”
The whispered yell made you jump, and you barely collected yourself. The nudge from your friend had your head turning and nodded, trying to straighten your form.
“Thanks.”
You mouth.
This has been happening a lot. Since that night in your apartment, you’ve been having constant daydreams about said mutant. It’s frustrating how much he consumes your every thought. Even worse that he hadn’t really made a move on you.
To be fair, they were crimefighters. Their night schedules were busy and your day plans were hectic. You tried to squeeze in as much time as possible, but there was always that point where things just didn’t align. Whenever you got to see them, you just had such a good time. You’d spend the time playing games or training. There was hardly a point where you could speak to Raph alone.
Heaving your duffle on your shoulder, you walked through the lair with a sigh.
“Hey (Y/N)!”
Mikey’s greeting had you smiling.
“Hey, did you just get done training?” He nodded happily.
“Raph and Leo are still going. Donnie and I got knocked out of the finals.” He joked.
“I’ll go and make sure they aren’t training all night.”
Knowing the two, it would never end. They were both too stubborn to let the other win.
As you walked into the dojo, you weren’t even surprised.
“Ready to lose Leo!”
“Not a chance!”
They rushed at each other, weapons drawn. The metal clinked and you just dropped your bag on the floor, waiting for them to take notice that they had an audience.
“Getting rusty.” Raph taunts.
They were both pushing against each other with no resistance. Leo did a backflip, obviously trying to reevaluate what the best course of action was. Raph played with his sais, flipping them back and forth around his wrists.
“Room for one more.”
They both turned at your voice and you waved.
“Sorry Leo, but it’s my turn.”
You pointed at your watch, and he straightened, looking at the clock on the wall.
“Wow, it’s only been three hours.” Leo spoke.
“Only, and three hours should not go in the same sentence. “ You laugh.
He smiled, sheathing his blades.
“Guess we’ll have to finish this later.” Leo stated.
“Sounds like ya quitting.” Raph calls. Leo just waved him off, giving you a pat on the shoulder.
“Good luck.” He offered.
Just like that he was walking down the hall.
Raph slid his blades into his pouch, and you did a stretch. When you felt satisfied, you slid your shirt over your head. You placed a right next to your bag, and when you turned back, Raph’s eyes were on you.
For a moment you felt a bit bashful. You’d literally done that a million times, but things were a little different now. You divert your gaze.
“L-Let’s get started.”
Hopefully the workout would distract you.
So you began.
Raph has never been one to hold back. You already know this.
So your body hitting the mat half a dozen times for the evening wasn’t a surprise.
You grunted everytime you were flipped over.
Each hit knocked the wind out of your body.
“Stop trying to flip me over, I ain’t ya college friends.” He was teasing.
You grumbled.
“It’s not my fault you’re so big.”
He just offered a smirk looking down at you and your cheeks tinted red at how unintentionally dirty that sounded.
“Stupid brain, focus!!”
He was kicking your butt. You needed to retaliate.
You jumped back to your feet, and Raph backed up, ready for you.
Rushing at him, you fired a few punches, all of which he evaded. He made a grab at your hand, and you just barely dodged to move. Dropping low, you used your leg to knock his feet from under him, but he jumped. You rolled to the side, shooting back upright. While you were trying to ground your feet again, Raph took advantage, tackling you.
“OOF!”
Your back hit the mat, and you huffed as Raph pinned you to the ground.
“C-Cheap shot!”
You complained, clearly out of breath.
His breathing wasn’t much better. You were still trying to gather yourself and you seemed to realize the lack of distance. Your chest rose and fell a bit more steadily.
“You can..let me up now..”
Even though it was your suggestion, you didn’t exactly hate your current position.
“Maybe ya should move me.” He taunted playfully.
You couldn’t stop the grin, wrapping your legs around his hips, you tried to use your weight to push him over, but he barely budged and the both of you started laughing.
“This is so unfair you’re as heavy as a truck.”
You whined, giggling. He straightened, pulling you up with him. The sudden tug caused you to fall right into his lap. You could tell from his reaction that he hadn’t planned for that. Your hands braced on his chest, and you looked up into his eyes.
Raph visibly swallowed at the adjusted position and the last of your restraint disappeared. You reached up, grabbing both of his cheeks as you kissed him. He was obviously caught by surprise, hands raised a bit awkwardly.
When he finally reciprocated, you let out a soft sound and Raph pulled you closer, hands smoothening on your hips.
“Finally..”
You’d been dying to just feel him.
Taste him.
You shifted, holding on just a little tighter. Raph didn’t mind.
When the both of you finally parted, you were smiling.
“That kiss is gonna cost ya.”
“I hope it does.”
You replied confidently, pulling him back in.

Connecting With The Elements
Connecting with the elements is all about balance. Many people, myself included, easily connect with one element and lack connection to the others. Many people also associate with one element, and adopt it like a personality trait. But being out of balance with the elements is like missing an important piece of the puzzle you've been working on forever. It's important to create a connection to the elements. To find that puzzle piece, so it can help you find the next one.
So how do you start creating balance with the elements?
The first step is to find the element you most easily connect with. For some this is going to be easy. You might think "I'm an earth sign, I identify with that." or "I've always been drawn to water." or "I have a lot of fire traits." For others this might be difficult. There are a few ways you can go about it.
First is to look at your birth chart. There are a ton of websites that will calculate this for you. Look at how many signs in each element are in your chart. Which element is the strongest in your chart? For me this is fire. My sun sign is an earth sign, but a majority of my chart is fire.
The second would be to look at a list of traits associated with each element, and write down all the ones you have. Count up the ones in each element. Which has the most traits? For me this is a tie between fire and water.
And finally, the third is to reflect on which element(s) you've always been drawn to. Which natural places have you always felt more connect with? Which animals? Maybe you feel like a bath or a soak in the ocean/a lake makes everything better? Maybe you've always been drawn to candle magic? For me, this is water.
Once you've determined which element is already your strongest, look at which is your weakest. You can use the same techniques above for this step too. For me, this is earth.
It's best to start out by connecting with the element that you've determined is your weakest.

a/n. — thank you anon for requesting <3. in other words these are headcannons of chishiya with a spade specialist s/o. i feel like this focuses more on being in a long-term relationship before/during the borderlands but there’s still spade specialists hc’s 😅. || masterlist.

YOU AND CHISHIYA, were already a strong team before the borderlands; he was a doctor and you were a gym instructor, both of which were life-changing positions, and you two supported each other well.
and nothing much changed after entering the borderlands, atleast negativity.
because of the trust and care you two had prior to the borderlands, you two pretty much only trust each other, telling each other secrets about executive meetings and sharing information you two learned about people.
however, because chishiya had told you that no one here could be trusted and that he himself was an enemy of many, you two's relationship was kept quiet. he didn't want to put your safety at risk by exposing his vulnerability to others.
and you agreed.
so, after a long day of "avoidance," you two would meet late at night on the rooftop.
as a player of spades, you've never had any trouble participating in physical games. to defeat other players, it was simple to have to climb buildings, run, or even do workouts.
chishiya, as your long-term boyfriend, was well aware of both your strengths and weaknesses. he wouldn't admit it (would rather die), but when you would talk about your games and mentioned climbing a tall building to get away from someone, he becomes concerned.
to fix this, he gives you little trinkets and such to help you during your games (like a literal bomb).
he knows that your abilities may be useful in situations other than games with only physical themes. so, when you go out to play games, chishiya has more faith in you (though he still gives you three taps on the arm to express his love).
however, not necessarily in all games. some are difficult puzzles that will take you back to seventh grade math class. furthermore, once you've entered a game, you can't change the type of game you'll play. so, after each of his own, he'll give you insights into the game he played during your rooftop meetings (hoping you'll take mental notes).
you do the same in your little meetings, giving him the best tips you can, but you know he won't take them. instead, he'd be standing on the sidelines, calculating a game loophole.
you might be wondering why he doesn't just accompany you to games. but that’s since he doesn't want to risk having to play a hearts game where you both have to kill each other in the end. he didn't want either of you to have to feel that grief — especially if you could make it back to "your world".
continuing on, in his plan to get away from the beach, you'd be on the lookout with kuina.
being a specialist in spades games meant you'd pretty much earned your spot as an executive. and if chishiya was caught as a suspect while dealing with arisu, he'd prefer you not be present and act out of character if he was hurt.
he wouldn't want you to be a part of the plan, for sure. but he understands that he needs everyone he can to participate in such a dangerous act, and being a lookout was relatively risk-free with kuina.
speaking of kuina…because of his wits and your toughness, you two become unstoppable in this world as well, earning the nickname "einstein and his bodyguard" from her.
chishiya hates it.
basically, the only difference between "your world" and the borderlands was that you two formed a stronger bond in the end.
and perhaps he changed a little — learned a little more about life.
and you did too.

BONUS: expect massages after a difficult day (in this case, a draining spades game), just as he did before the borderlands.
